Development Grants
The Department of Youth, Sport, and Recreation offers qualifying youth organizations funding for programs and initiatives that promote positive youth development. Grants are issued based on the direction and mandate of the Department of Youth, Sport, and Recreation. In addition, the Department is guided by its youth policy which has a heavy emphasis on the 40 Developmental Assets and Character Counts!.

Completed Grant application forms plus all supporting documentation are due on Monday, 19 September, 2011. The Government financial year runs from April 1 to March 31st.
